Constipation Protection Protocol

Everything from low back pain to migraines, constipation, dizziness, fatigue, muscular pain, arthritis, osteoporosis, angina, high blood cholesterol, allergies, asthma and cramps in the legs due to a build up of chemical residues and insufficient blood supply.” Doctor Batmanghelidjs MD, author of “Your Body's Many Cries For Water”

 

"Milk of magnesia is among the most common over-the-counter treatments for constipation. This liquid laxative is a compound called magnesium hydroxide. It’s often effective for short-term constipation relief, but it’s not ideal for treating chronic constipation."   Note use as a last resort and mostly avoid

     

What is Constipation?

  • Many primitive cultures who live off the land have one bowel movement per meal. IMO shoot for this.
  • 2 -3 Bowel Movements/day  good  
  • 1 Bowel Movement/day acceptable?
  • Less than 1 Bowel Movement/day constipation, unacceptable

     

 NO reason For a Laxative Product     

There is ABSOLUTELY NO reason to buy even a good non chemical laxative. There are literally hundreds of foods, supplements (See Supplement Protocol) and WATER that will make your bowels looser. In fact since you are now paying better attention to your body this is one of the things you should keep track of.

Buying a laxative is an admission of ignorance or laziness. Neither quality bodes well for your health. Constipation USUALLY is telling you, you are NOT eating/drinking salubriously. Please examine why. When the sales of Laxatives dry up it will be a very good sign for the health of our nation.

   

The Most Common Reason for Constipation

As the final step in your elimination phase of your digestive process your colon will squeeze every gram of water out of your stool should your body require water. This will produce a rock hard stool which is difficult to eliminate.

Thus all many of us require to cure constipation is water (See Water Amount Protocol). Constipation is often a very good sign you NEED water. You can confirm this by checking the color of your urine. Constipation coupled with dark urine is telling you something very important; you NEED water.  In this respect constipation as well as dark urine can be very good things if we take action on their signals and drink water. 

If you follow the water ingestion rule of drinking a large glass of water every time you urinate non-clear urine, you will avoid most constipation.

       

Constipation is Not Good

We must produce soft, water logged, even loose frangible but not watery, stools for many reasons. Straining to defecate is proven to cause hemorrhoids, varicose veins and diverticulitis. Constipation goes hand and glove with long bowel transit times, which as we know are VERY deleterious as MANY toxins, that should quickly be eliminated are absorbed through your colon as they remain in your colon for days and even weeks.

White bread was the standard medical treatment for dysentery, overly loose stools, one hundred years ago. I still use it when I am dangerously loose. White flour will often plug you up like a stopper. Cooked food (See Cooking Protocol) especially overly cooked has a pronounced constipating effect. Most dairy products (See Dairy Protocol) are very constipating.

The Standard American Diet includes way too much Processed, Fast and Junk "food"

   

Eat Raw Whole Food

  

"We found eating unaltered, raw food or food heated at low temperatures did not cause increased leukocytes. In addition, if a food had been heated beyond a certain temperature (unique to each food), or if the food was processed (refined, added chemicals, etc.), this always caused leukocytosis. The foods causing the greatest leukocytosis, were processed foods that had been refined, homogenized, pasteurized, or chemically preserved." Swiss Institute of Chemistry, Note the leukocytes are the immune system attacking a foreign invader; the "processed food" is not recognized by your body as food.

Any time you COOK ANYTHING you breakdown fiber (prebiotics); kill bacteria (probiotics); hasten the digestive process, hasten the release of sugars into your blood stream and decrease the probiotic and prebiotic potential of that food. SO eat RAW as often as possible. Eating something raw with any cooked food is also a good idea.

   

Defecation and Constipation

     

About 50% of a Healthy Bowel Movement consists of Mostly Good Bacteria

"In one study, when patients with colon cancer and/or with precancerous polyps supplemented with probiotic bacteria, they experienced sharply reduced proliferation of abnormal colon cells and a significant decline in harmful Clostridium bacteria. (In this study, the probiotic was combined with prebiotics, which are substances that feed or promote the accompanying bacteria).54 "   Probiotics Provide Anti-Aging Defense

“Fiber and digestion-resistant starch are called prebiotics. Prebiotics are components of food that cannot be digested by the stomach or small intestine, but are fermented in the colon to provide additional nutrients and health benefits.124,125  Prebiotics are digestion-resistant chains (polymers, oligosaccharides) of sugar molecules. Such oligosaccharides occur naturally in chicory, asparagus, onions, soybeans, and milk.142-144 Prebiotics promote the growth of Bifidobacteria in the colon.145 Prebiotics have been shown to protect rats from colon cancer.146,147 In humans, prebiotics have been shown to reduce appetite,148 improve insulin sensitivity, and promote weight loss.149 ”   The Microbiome Of Aging And Age-Related Disease Conference

Make sure you have plenty, hundreds of trillions, of these good bacteria in your gut. The health of your colon and a lack of Colon and other Cancer depends on it.

  

Excess Calcium and Constipation 

Excess calcium in your GI Tract can cause or exacerbate constipation. Please make sure you understand how you can prevent excess calcium in your body and REMOVE any excess calcium you may have in your GI Tract or anywhere else in your body.

This is a very powerful statement; the Surgeon General did not say "contributes to" or "is a factor in". The Surgeon General says this crap is KILLING us.

A simple natural laxative you should always have on hand and EAT every day is garlic. Three or so cloves raw and finely minced together with a quart or two of water will unplug you as it destroys lots of bad microbes in your GI tract and body and helps your colon health.

If your diet is the SAD which consists of mostly cooked meat, dairy, little raw fruit and vegetables IMO it may be hard to eliminate constipation. Please get with the program. The SAD will slowly kill you.

Once you understand the simple to understand constipation process, just a little thought and attention to your diet and water consumption can end your constipation forever.

Diatomaceous Earth , Digestion and Constipation

Once you have a bowel movement you may wish to completely clean out your digestive tract. You do not usually want to do this while constipated.

Several years ago I was having digestion problems which resulted in among other things  undigested food in my stools. I tried several tings without too much success. To clear out possible parasites and other vermin from my digestive tract I tried diatomaceous earth. Bam all my digestive problems were gone, in a few days.

If you are having any constipation, digestive or GI tract problems I urge you to give diatomaceous earth a try.
