Fruit Juice should always be cut with water or used as a condiment if you buy it at all. It’s too close to fructose (See Fructose Protocol) and glucose to be drinking straight. I don’t buy it anymore, as I was unable to control my gourmandizing it.
Commercial Fruit Juice is stripped of Most Nutrients

Fruit juice being pasteurized has had much its natural Vitamin C and all its enzymes (See Enzymes Protocol) removed so you are a lot better off eating the raw natural vitamin C and enzyme full fruit. Fruit Juice that has been processed is often slightly acidic (See pH Protocol) whereas the raw fruit was basic. Processed Fruit Juice often has most of the important fiber removed. Homemade Fruit Juice is better but still full of near glucose and fructose, as much as six teaspoons per glass.
An Example of a Destroyed Food

To Make your product Worse add HFCS
Many commercial fruit juices have HFCS added. Fruit contains fiber that slows down the metabolism of fructose and other sugars, but the fructose in HFCS is absorbed very quickly. Fruit juice like sugar can bring down your immune system (See Immune System Protocol) for as many as eight hours. A glass of fruit Juice or a sugar snack with meals will render your immune system 50% less effective for most of your life. IMO this is a dirty little secret of much of our poor heath.

Bottom line on fruit juice: you get the full load of damaging fructose often plus added HFCS without the antioxidants, fiber and enzymes. Not a good deal. IMO lay off the commercial fruit juices, eat the real fruit and drink good water. When you get thirsty your body wants WATER. Feed it anything else and you are fighting your body. Defeat your body and you both lose.
