“Armed with your new knowledge, the following experiment will blow you away. Go to your local supermarket with your glasses or a magnifying glass, without being in a hurry. Start anywhere and just read all the fine print on food labels. Check out the frozen dessert section - you know, all those boxes with the beautiful pictures of homemade pies and cakes and turnovers. You'll be amazed to see that hydrogenated soybean oil is not simply an ingredient in many of these desserts, but that it is the main ingredient. Next try the salad dressing aisle. Start with the creamies - bleu cheese, Ranch, etc. Partially hydrogenated soybean oil - the main ingredient. Next go to the commercial bread and pastries section. Most breads have the ingredients printed in orange microfonts so that you can't make them out with the bread as the background. This is no accident. Here you'll see not only a ton of hydrogenated soybean oil - you'll also see beaucoup high fructose corn syrup - another neurotoxic non-food. (See SUGAR) Next try the soup section - read every word. Then cruise on over to the pasta section. Don't forget the commercial cookies section. People tend to have a strong opinion on soy (See Food Allergies Protocol) as a food. Please note the following is my OPINION. I do feel my opinion is backed up by the science. Good components can be derived from soybeans however IMO you must know enough soybean basics to evaluate their use. Most people believe soy is a “health food”; I once did. It has cost the soy industry et al billions to plant this untruth in so many minds.

IMO even NON-GMO Soy is NOT Edible unless it is Fermented

About thirty years ago I fell for the strong pro soy propaganda and was a true believer. Today after much research I feel some of the fermented soy products have merit in limited amounts. But soy is not a food source unless it is fermented. IMO we need to AVOID all unfermented soy. The evidence against unfermented soy is overwhelming. It’s almost impossible to avoid unfermented soy if you eat processed food as the cheap GMO soy protein and oil are added to thousands of processed food products. Soybeans were not fed to humans before WW II; this was about the time the Rockefeller clan achieved control of many of our health agencies. Soybeans now provide 70% of the edible fats and oils in our diets. IMO this explains much of our poor and deteriorating health.   

     

Raw Soybeans are Inedible by Humans

Raw soybeans are inedible by humans and must be processed with strong chemicals or fermented before we can eat the result. Chemically processed soybean protein has been highly denatured. Thus it may lead to allergy and autoimmune problems in some people, especially young children. Ingested unfermented Soy uses up a lot of our vitamin B12 (See Vitamin B12 protocol) and vitamin D stores a situation most of us cannot tolerate.

Soybean products, provided they are NOT GMO, that have been fermented like tempeh, natto, miso and shogu (soy or tamari sauce) avoid these problems, although some can be VERY high in sodium. An enzyme (See Enzymes Protocol) derived from a fermented soybean product Natto, nattokinase (See Nattokinase Protocol) can be an excellent way to help keep your blood free flowing and is an excellent way to get the often lacking vitamin K. Natto (See Natto Protocol) can be an extremely healthy food eaten in moderation. I have more or less mastered the oriental process of making natto from scratch. I consider natto an episodic mainstay of my diet. Note you must ingest non GMO soy. One key to ingesting fermented soy is to keep it as a VERY small portion of your diet.
