"Ascorbate deficiency is an important underlying factor and that all mechanisms known today leading to CVD can be triggered by ascorbate deficiency. The different mechanisms of human CVD known today therefore all compensate for impaired integrity and stability of the vascular wall caused by chronically low dietary ascorbate intake.  “Almost all the prescription drugs currently taken by millions of people lead to a gradual depletion of vitamins and other essential cellular nutrients in the body. Drugs are generally synthetic, nonnatural substances that we absorb in our bodies. Our bodies recognize these synthetic drugs as “toxic,” just like any other non-natural substance. Thus, all synthetic drugs have to be “detoxified” by the liver in order to eliminate them from our bodies. This detoxification process requires magnesium and vitamin C and other cellular nutrients as cofactors. Many of these essential nutrients are used up in biological (enzymatic) reactions during this detoxification process. “The main reason for high blood cholesterol is excessive metabolism of oxygen and sugar in our blood stream due to the polluted environment, and a diet high in refined carbohydrate, trans-fat, and stressful lifestyle. Vitamin C is especially vital in any detoxification programs, as the body needs it for energy to process and eliminate wastes. High doses of vitamin C can have a laxative effect as it attracts water. Vitamin C can be taken until the bowel tolerance level (BTL) is achieved. The BTL varies from one person to another. Some people may reach a tolerance level at four to five grams (4,000-5,000 mg) while others only reach tolerance at 10 to15 grams (10,000-15,000 mg). Because vitamin C is water soluble, its action is slower. A few weeks may be needed to achieve the adequate blood level. In the case of asthma, many studies have shown that a daily vitamin C dosage of 1000-2000mg can improve lung function and reduce the chances of asthmatic attacks. Vitamin C is your body’s prime ingested water-soluble antioxidant

 Without Vitamin C you will slowly bleed to death. Vitamin C is a strong vasodilator, relaxing your arteries to promote normal BP (See HBP Protocol) and reduce cardiovascular disease (See Cardiovascular Disease Protocol). Vitamin C has an important role in recharging, supplying an electron,  the other antioxidants such as vitamin E. Vitamin C is found in most fresh foods including meats. Heat destroys Vitamin C, so eating raw fresh foods will provide the most.

Please note and understand ascorbic acid is NOT vitamin C. Ascorbic acid is but one component of ascorbate or vitamin C. The common reference to vitamin C usually means ascorbic acid. We know better.

Three of the most important are as an antioxidant directly and indirectly when recharging other antioxidant and as a critical component of collagen production. to include cartridge, joint tissue and other connective tissue.

     

 Don’t live with Scurvy

 Since we no longer eat lots of raw fresh food Vitamin C can be a problem for many people. Low Vitamin C levels are a root cause of many cardiovascular problems (See Atherosclerosis Protocol). Low vitamin C levels are almost certainly a contributing factor in MANY health problems. The simple brutal fact is that MANY people are walking around with sub clinical scurvy. Vitamin C is one of the few ways we have of ameliorating (See Chelation Protocol) the toxic effects of the fluoride (See Fluoride Protocol) that we are being poisoned with.  Vitamin C can cure Disease

 The first physician to aggressively use Vitamin C to cure diseases was Frederick R. Klenner, M.D. Beginning back in the early 1940's. Dr. Klenner consistently cured chicken pox, measles, mumps, tetanus and polio with huge doses of vitamin C. Certainly if it is effective for these diseases it will help tremendously with the flu.
