Human Growth Hormone (HGH) is a natural body product whose release falls off as we age. Apparently our actual production of HGH remains constant thru our lives. By age forty we have only about one quarter of the HGH in our blood as we had at twenty. This lower HGH level contributes to functional aging. IMO everyone over forty should work to improve their HGH levels. People under forty normally need not usually worry about their HGH levels. IMO you do NOT want to take injected HGH itself. How to maximize HGH production through exercise

     

Warrior Workout: USMC Combat Fitness Test, Rope Climb Methods: One Way to improve Your HGH levels and a LOT ELSE  

Here is a great workout you can modify to suit your age and fitness levels. Strenuous anaerobic exercises like this will help produce Testosterone, HGH, DHEA, HDL, Mitochondrial density and anything else Strenuous anaerobic exercise produces. This one is neat because it puts you on the GROUND Note at 80 I mostly fast walk this and carry 50 pound water jugs not ammo cans and a 50 pound sack not a person. Start low, go slow.

If you exercise anaerobically for very short periods of time, for example an all out 200 yard sprint, you will be exercising anaerobically, that is without oxygen. Phil Campbell has found that a few of these sprints, not to exceed eight, two or three times a week is a great way to increase HGH production, please watch the videos for details.

Strenuous Exercise will also increase HGH levels as well as HDL and Testosterone. Fasting will also increase HGH levels.

A great family treat is, first make sure you are in great cardio shape; take the family car out on a deserted road. have your son steer and get out and push the non-running car, on a level road, for as far as you are able. It will not be too long until you have some competition for the pushing job.

Since insulin kills HGH release an efficient insulin mechanism in your body and not ingesting ANY sugar or too many simple carbs would seem to be the way to go; especially for two to three hours after exercise or when your body is producing high levels of HGH.

Optimizing Muscle Health With Whey, Creatine, and Glutamine

 I usually add 2 grams or so of L-Taurine as it is very protective of the cardio vascular system. To give this drink some chocolate flavor as well as a cardio punch, an ounce of cocoa powder can be added.  

Add water to powder.  A mixture of amino acids taken on an empty stomach with whey is proven to increase the release of HGH by up to 400%. I take this on an empty stomach (See Morning Protocol) upon waking on a day when I plan a heavy workout or about three times a week. At 75 my levels of melatonin (See Hormone Supplements Protocol) and testosterone (See Testosterone Protocol) are high or I would take these HGH releasing amino acids more often.

How Often to Take HGH Releasing Mixture

Men IMO if you are over 50 or so increase your HGH releasing mixture intake until your sperm production is satisfactory.  Copious sperm production is an excellent marker for good HGH production and release IMO. Women can gauge their HGH production and release indirectly thru testosterone production by the strength of their clitoral erections.

At 75 I take ALL my amino acid drinks every day.

Energy and HGH on a Ski Day

If you eat right and supplement besides joy and exercise you can generate plenty of HGH on a ski (or any rigorous all day exercise period) day. Not eating any carbs for lunch will keep the HGH production going all day. I take the following supplements for energy. Try to eat no carbs for a couple hours after skiing, this will allow the HGH production to continue after you have finished exercising.  Yeah it is hard.

  • Good large fat rich breakfast   or NO breakfast at all for even more benefits (as a one day  fast)

  • Nuts for noon snack   or NO lunch at all for even more benefits (as an extension of your fast)

  • 2 Table spoons each of coconut Oil and Palm Oil with breakfast NEEDED for sat solubles below

  • CoQ10

  • Ashwagandha

  • Green Tea

  • Maca

  • Siberian Ginseng

  • Turmeric

  • Yerba Mate

  • Schizandra

    

Caution: Do not take this or any other hormone directly without researching hormone supplementation and having your levels checked. In particular do not DIRECTLY take supplemental hormones if under the age of about forty. It is strongly suggested you consult with a knowledgeable Integrative Doctor on hormone supplementation. 

Ladies you MUST explore bioidentical hormones if you require direct hormone supplementation. The drug forms of estrogen and progesterone are BAD NEWS and have PROVEN this for many decades. Natural Bioidentical hormones are in the bio identical form as your natural hormones and are given in identical amounts as your body requires.

Men should also use a NATURAL hormone form if they require a direct supplemental hormone.
