The Anti-Infective Vitamins and Minerals

Your body will use vitamins D, C and A in VAST amounts to fight any infection including Cancer. Your job is to supply them in amounts GREATER than your body requires.

With a robust Natural Immune System and LOTS of Vitamin D and the anti-infective vitamins, minerals et al you can contract and DEFEAT most pathogens in seconds, minutes or hours.

     

Don’t be afraid of Sunshine, Vitamin D, Vitamin C, Vitamin A or Cholesterol; learn their properties and safely and freely use these powerful health tools

An important point about vitamins A, C, D and Cholesterol is that they have a maintenance state and an anti-infective state. When your body is healthy and not fighting any serious infection or inflammation the requirements for these nutrients are nominal. However when your body is fighting a serious systemic infection their requirements skyrocket. For example with vitamin A you may normally only need a few thousand IU/day but when fighting a serious infection Doctor Gary Gordon gives a 150 pound adult 400,000 IU/day. Most of this 400,000 IU will be burned rapidly fighting the infection. Likewise with vitamin C, when fighting an infection you will be able to ingest many more grams before reaching bowel tolerance, often 30 grams or more.

Vitamins and Infection

Vitamins D, C, and A are the anti-infective vitamins. Your body will create vast amounts of anti-infective tools from these three vitamins. It will create them on demand and as long as YOU supply the vitamin feedstocks in the amounts required YOU will defeat the infection; any infection, viral, bacterial, fungal, parasitic, lung, any microbe anywhere, any time. What a wonderful machine is our body.

Vitamin C has been demonstrated to destroy viruses. If you do not apply the vitamin C soon enough you may need 50 - 100 grams/day or more. As you probably cannot, IMO try, absorb these amounts orally you may need to have a doctor treat you intravenously with the vitamin C.

     

LOTS of Vitamin D is CRITICAL to Defeat an Infectious Attack

"A group of scientists from UCLA published a remarkable paper in the prestigious journal, Nature. The UCLA group confirmed two other recent studies, showing that a naturally occurring steroid hormone - a hormone most of us take for granted - was, in effect, a potent antibiotic. Instead of directly killing bacteria and viruses, the steroid hormone under question increases the body's production of a remarkable class of proteins, called antimicrobial peptides. The 200 known antimicrobial peptides directly and rapidly destroy the cell walls of bacteria, fungi, and viruses, including the influenza virus, and play a key role in keeping the lungs free of infection. Without vitamin D your immune system cannot function; it is just that simple. Vitamin D enables your body to defeat infectious pathogens such as viruses as soon as they enter your body. BEFORE they get a chance to infect your cells. Therefore we NEED to have the large amounts of Vitamin D in our body BEFORE the infectious attack begins.

IMO you want to get  your vitamin D levels up to 100 ng/ml. for fighting cancer, AIDS and other serious problems and 60ng/ml otherwise.

Vitamin D is CRITICAL to the cancer treatment process as it directly affects at least 10% of your genes; many of these genes have likely been Epigenetically altered as you got cancer; they will be altered back to normal as you recover from cancer. Without good vitamin D levels this re-establishing of the non-cancerous gene expression may be difficult.

You want to get as much of your vitamin D from the sun as possible. A good UVB Sun tanning Device is the next best thing to the sun. Use vitamin D3 supplements to achieve the rest. Suppose it is winter and you have no tan. Start taking 1000 IU of vitamin D3/20 pounds of body weight/day while you learn about and check out the use of a good UVB Sun Tanning Device. You need to learn how to get LOTS of sun without burning; you need to slowly build up a good tan.

Hours and hours of noon sun on bare skin  heals your body in MANY ways.

VITAMIN D is a REQUIRED weapon for Seasonal Flu, all Viruses including Ebola

Vitamin D does not allow any virus to gain a foothold in your body. Vitamin D can defeat a virus in a short time. Getting to and destroying those first few viruses before they can replicate is ESSENTIAL.

Vitamin D is a strongly anti-infective vitamin. Vitamin D powers many of your immune system's pathogen destroying mechanisms. IMO you want a vitamin D level of at least 60 ng/ml to be sure you have all the protection vitamin D and your immune system can give. More is better. Probably only 5% or less of us have this vitamin D protection.

Spending summer HOURS in the NOON sun with NO sunscreen is the best way to get this vitamin D. In the winter most of us must take 10,000 or so units of vitamin D3 supplements or use a UVB sun tanning bed.

     

LOTS of Vitamin C is Critical to Defeat an in process Infection

"Doctor Thomas Levy, who has provided the definitive proof in his book ‘ Vitamin C, Infectious Diseases and Toxins: Curing the Incurable’. He is one of the world’s experts in effects of vitamin C on viruses. Here’s what he says “I have not found any flu virus for which vitamin C does not exert a virucidal effect, as long as enough vitamin C reaches the virus, such as in any acute infection. Vitamin C is virtually devoid of negative side effects.”  Patrick  Holford

"Neuramidase inhibition, which prevents viral release from infected cells, is only one of more than ten ways that vitamin C helps knock out viruses, both by inhibiting the virus itself, and by strengthening the body’s own immune response, for example by improving immune cell function (eg macrophages and t-lymphocytes), upping interferon and nitric oxide and making more antibodies which target viruses."  Patrick  Holford 

"When treating illness, "bowel tolerance" is the indicator of dosage level that should be used. This means taking just under the level of vitamin C (in divided doses) that results in loose stools. Everyone is different. Note that while a few 1,000mg doses a day might make you loose when you are fit and well, your "bowel tolerance" might increase to ten or even a hundred times this when very ill. So, for illness, the levels suggested by the Vitamin C Foundation are 6,000mg to 18,000mg of vitamin C per day (or up to bowel tolerance) plus 2,000mg to 6,000mg of lysine. These vitamin C levels may seem high, but are perhaps not particularly large when compared with levels seen in the animal kingdom.   Vitamin C and Cardiovascular Disease

"When a person is ill the amount of ascorbic acid he can ingest without diarrhea being produced increases somewhat proportionally to the severity or the toxicity of the disease. Vitamin C has been demonstrated to destroy viruses. If you do not apply the vitamin C soon enough you may need 50 - 100 grams/day or more. As you probably cannot, IMO try, absorb these amounts orally you may need to have a doctor treat you intravenously with the vitamin C. Make sure you get all the components of the Vitamin C Complex.

Vitamin C For Cancer

IMO when infected with cancer or another serious infection you want to get  your vitamin C levels as high as possible This can be done with IV vitamin C, oral lipospheric vitamin C or oral sodium ascorbate or a combination thereof.

I have long considered vitamin C as the ideal Cancer Chemo Therapy replacement. Oncologists who are using 100s of grams of IV vitamin C/day or /week on cancer are achieving a LOT of cures. See if you can find a doctor who is willing to administer IV vitamin C. You should be able to orally take 20 or 30 or more grams of vitamin C in the form of lipospheric vitamin C or sodium ascorbate. The vitamin C Protocol will show you how to do this. You should take your vitamin C in divided doses three times a day.

IMO when infected with cancer or another serious infection you want to get  your vitamin A levels as high as possible This can be done by getting your Beta Carotene  levels high enough to maximize vitamin A production. Your body will then make all the variations of Vitamin A it needs to fight your infection.

Vitamin A is an anti-infective tool your body uses to fight infection. It has MANY uses in fighting infection. There are many forms of vitamin A but if you eat a whole food source of beta carotene like cooked carrots with a lot of good fat your body will convert the carotene into the dozens of forms of vitamin A it requires and in the amounts it requires. You cannot take beta carotene as a supplement.  If you do not like cooked carrots you will have to find a substitute that supplies good carotene, they exist. I have used and trusted cooked carrots for 50 years. I eat at least two or three pounds of cooked carrots a week.

Vitamin A plays many roles in immune function and infection fighting. You MUST have enough.
