Blood Thinning and Ginger

Ginger has DEMONSTRATED great promise in the prevention and treatment of several cancers including breast, prostate, colorectal, cervical and other cancers. IMO you are foolish if you do not consume raw ginger EVERY DAY. I have at least a half ounce or so of ginger every day.

Many health problems involve chronic inflammation. Ginger will help cool the fires of inflammation (See Inflammation Protocol) and help your body heal. Ginger can play a major role in your anti-inflammation program; simply eat a little raw ginger most days; I shoot for at least a half an ounce or so. If you have serious inflammation problems consider more and look into curcumin (See Curcumin Protocol).

Ginger root is nourishing to the gastrointestinal system. It also helps the body to eliminate wastes through the skin (See Skin Protection Protocol). Ginger enhances circulation and acts as a catalyst for other herbs (See Seasoning Protocol), to increase their effectiveness. Ginger is very protective of your heart; it increases ATP transport and calcium cycling.

Ginger helps the body relieve congestion. A Danish study found that 100 percent of people given ginger root experienced complete relief from musculoskeletal pain and most from osteoarthritic pain. This sure makes it worth trying if you have osteoarthritis.

  

Conclusion

 Ginger has so many benefits; i don’t care for the taste of ginger very much but I eat it almost every day. I cut it very fine and add it to my various teas, blends and salads. I can’t imagine life without fresh ginger.
