"All chemotherapy treatments are acidic. Acidic treatments of chemical therapy only contribute to an already acidic state. The key to health, energy, vitality and fitness of the body is not with the body cells but with the alkaline environment in which the body cells reside. Destroying cancerous cells with drugs does not address the real foundational problem of what causes a cancerous condition. The true cause of any cancerous state is the level of acidic dietary and metabolic poisons in the fluids of the body. That is why ALL treatments focused on the cancerous cells and tissues will eventually fail with the death of the body. You do not fight fire with the acid of kerosene just as you would not fight a cancerous condition with acidic drugs and/or treatments." Doctor Young talking about the nature of cancer

"All of us have cancerous or acidic body cells from conception to death to a lesser or greater degree depending upon lifestyle and dietary choices. The body is constantly trying to maintain its alkaline design while dealing with its many acidic functions. The body requires energy to run and the consumption of energy produces dietary and metabolic acidic waste products. If these dietary and metabolic acidic waste products are not eliminated through urination, perspiration, defecation or respiration they are then eliminated into the body tissues, such as the connective tissues, muscles and bones. "Oxygen cannot stick to blood cells if the pH of the blood is acidic. And rather than do everything that they can to raise the pH back up to a normal pH of 7.4 so that the blood can function properly, they prefer surgery. All of the advice that they have stolen from naturopathic medicine about “deep breathing” will do them no good at all. You can breath pure oxygen until you catch on fire but if the blood pH is acidic, then the oxygen will not be able to be picked up by the blood cells. It is chemically impossible. The blood must be normal and normal blood has a pH of around 7.4 pH. Any vestigial traces of oxygen that the acid-drenched blood cells manage to pick up are stripped off early by the oxygen-starved cells along the way and never reach the deeper parts of the body where oxygen is most needed. pH stands for the potential of Hydrogen, it is the measure of the hydrogen ion concentration of a solution. The degrees of acidity or alkalinity of a substance are expressed in pH values.

    The pH scale runs from a pure acid 0 thru a neutral 7 to a pure base 14. This table gives some values of foods BEFORE they are digested (See below).

    

 A slightly Basic Body Structure is Desirable 

Fiber foods and not all fiber is the same

"When protein is lacking in the diet, there is a tendency for the blood and tissues to become either too acid or too alkaline, depending on the acidity or the alkalinity of the foods we eat. Improper acid-alkaline balance is often a problem among vegetarians. Just as animal fats are our only sources of vitamins A and D and other bodybuilding factors. so also animal protein is our only source of complete protein."   Sally Fallon

"The beauty of the raw alkaline diet is that parasites, mold, yeast, and most harmful bacteria cannot survive in an alkaline environment. I have come to appreciate the feeling of extreme well being when I ingest a diet of raw alkaline forming foods."   Chief Salomon Montezinos, Note a slightly alkaline pH is associated with good body oxygenation and a low cancer risk

“The more acid the blood is, the less oxygen it contains, and the faster a person ages and degenerates. There's a major difference in oxygen even within the narrow range of "normal' blood pH: blood that is pH 7.3 actually has 69.4% less oxygen than 7.45 blood, according to Whang's book, Reverse Aging. On a practical level, this means we should do everything to keep the pH on the high side of the range, as close as possible to 7.45, by eating as many alkaline foods as possible. That would be, you guessed it - live, raw foods, especially green foods.”   The Doctor Within, Note IMO this is not exactly correct but if you substitute "the tissue the blood is passing through" for blood it is correct

When speaking of pH and your "body" it's important to remember your body consists of regions of of acidity such as (sometimes) your stomach. I like to think of my body of being a basic structure that contains regions of acidity.

IMO it is very important to achieve a body pH slightly above neutral (7.4) on the pH scale. You want your body to be slightly basic in order to avoid most disease states including cancer.  Your arterial blood is held rigidly within a few  hundreds of 7.4.  if necessary alkalinity or acidify s pulled from your tissue to maintain this tight blood pH range. Your saliva’ pH in the morning tends to mirror your blood’s pH with an offset of about 0,4 below actual; so a 7.0 saliva pH reading would show an ideal a 7.4 in your extracellular fluid.

    An acidic body state must draw basic minerals from your bones to balance the acid. If you are eating a lot of acid producing foods you should test your pH often. It’s possible, but rare to get too basic. In either case eat your way back to neutral by eating basic if you are acidic and vice versa.

    Acid is produced in your body whenever you have stress (See Stress Protocol), upset emotions and when the food you eat is acid forming. Meats, grains, dairy, sugar and processed foods tend to be acid forming, vegetables and most fruits basic (See Food pH Values).

Exercise tends to help eliminate acidity from your body and thus aids in achieving an alkaline state.

From that point on, the normal process of life is to gradually acidify. That is why these degenerative diseases do not occur when you are young. Reverse aging requires two separate steps: chemical and physical. The first step is to lower the acidity of the body so that it can dispose of acidic wastes in the blood and cellular fluids safely and easily. Hypercoagulated blood, body acidosis and cancer are very closely connected. In order to successfully  improve your hypercoagulated blood you will need to get your pH out of the acidosis range (below about 7.0 or so); this will be helping to prevent cancer and disease.

There's a major difference in oxygen even within the narrow range of "normal' blood pH: blood that is pH 7.3 actually has 69.4% less oxygen than 7.45 blood, according to Whang's book, Reverse Aging. On a practical level, this means we should do everything to keep the pH on the high side of the range, as close as possible to 7.45, by eating as many alkaline foods as possible. That would be, you guessed it - live, raw foods, especially green foods.”   The Doctor Within , Note while this is correct oxygen dissolved in the blood is not a big factor in oxygenating tissue, MOST oxygen is carried bound to the red blood cells. HOWEVER low body pH does play an important role in releasing blood oxygen too soon; before the target tissues have been reached.

EFFECT OF pH, CO2 & TEMPERATURE

Above we see the oxygen dissociation curve related to the pH of body tissue. The design of our body's oxygenation process as related to body pH is intended to operate thus. When your blood enters tissue with high pH such as your lungs your blood will pick  up oxygen. When  your blood enters areas of lower pH such as your capillaries, the smallest arteries, your blood will release oxygen.

If your body pH is too acidic, a condition of acidosis, your blood will release SOME oxygen before it gets to the capillaries and thus some tissue will not be properly oxygenated. We should KNOW this is the condition which induces CANCER and LOTS of other serious health problems. This message could not be clearer IMO. Please pay a LOT of attention to your body pH.

Acidic Foods can become Basic Cells

Lemon and vinegar are acidic to the taste but after they are  burned in your body the ASHES are VERY basic; some of these ashes remain within your body and are referred to as the pH content of a food. If the food contains more sodium, potassium, magnesium or calcium, it's classed as an alkaline food. If it contains more sulphur, phosphate or chloride, it's classed as an acid food. Please note you NEED both basic and acidic foods, neither is bad. What is important is that you get slightly more basic foods than acidic foods on balance.

USDA publishes several Food pH Values listings; look at lemons if the value given is about 2.0 this is a pre-digestion pH table you want a post digestion pH table where the value for lemon should be in the 10 or up area.

    Here are simple lists of foods giving their approximate pH. Note opinion differs. This is not an exact science and it does not matter what the EXACT values are, you just want to be aware of the general pH of what you are eating and test from time to time. For example if your diet consists of a lot of bacon and eggs, milk, grains and dairy you are LIKELY to be quite acidic and need to take steps to change it. I eat a LOT of acidic salmon and eggs but balance it with LOTS and LOTS of alkaline veggies, fruits, and next to NO processed/fast foods which are often acidic.

Eat what you want to satisfy the many constraints you must put on your eating and test your pH once in a while to make sure you have not drifted too far from center.

I don’t try to daily balance my foods for acid/base content but try to eat a LOT of vegetables and fruit. Once a month or so in the morning before eating or drinking anything, I use a pH strip to test my saliva pH. The optimal pH for morning saliva is 6.6 to 7.0.  If it’s lower (Its never been more than a tad above 7.4) I will refrain from eating acid producing foods and eat a few whole lemons (See Lemon Protocol) or limes in a salad or drink some lemon juice (See Lemon Juice Protocol) or vinegar (See Vinegar Protocol) with my water over the next few days. In a few days or so I will retest.  

Urine pH can vary from around 4.5 to 9.0 in extremes, but the ideal range is 6.0 to 7.0. If your urinary pH fluctuates between 6.0 to 6.5 first thing in the morning and between 6.5 and 7.0 in the evening before dinner, your body is functioning within a healthy range. I do not use the urine pH test as the morning saliva test seems to be much more stable and reliable IMO.

Your pH is a GROSS measure; all it should give you is a direction you need to go; usually toward alkaline; in which case a few more lemons just might do it.
