Healthy protocols has a mission to help you learn how to provide most of your health care YOURSELF.

This is not as difficult as it first appears. You must be willing to put some WORK into understanding the true basis of your health. Information, verified information, relevant information and a willingness to study can enable you to largely reject most of Big Medicine's unpleasant often deadly deception and Big Pharma's toxic ineffective drugs as well as Big Government's interference in your life.

We have accepted all this unpleasantness, toxicity, interference and vast EXPENSE because we thought it was required for our good health. The simple truth is not only is all this mess USUALLY not required but it is MOSTLY counterproductive to our good health. Yes once in awhile we do need competent professional medical help; once in a rare while if we eat and live right.

The more we know about our health the better we can deal with medical professionals. A medical professional's ears perk up quickly when you know more than he/she does about an aspect of our health. MANY, not all, medical professionals know less about nutrition than you will know in less than a year or two. Nutrition and exercise are the KEYS to most of our health and "disease". These medical professionals are light years ahead of Big Medicine INC where many are compelled to practice.

Nitric Oxide (NO) Protocol Continued    

Note how the Nitric Oxide (NO) enters the artery wall and can signal a relaxation of the smooth muscle wall; improving blood flow and lowering blood pressure. This is the default state your circulatory system should be in MOST of the time you are relaxed and not under stress.

Inducible nitric oxide synthase and vascular injury   Note how the NO enters the arterial lumen inhibiting platelet aggregation and can signal no leukocyte entrance into the arterial wall is required. This default state is preventing the first step in Atherosclerosis.  Should inflammatory problems develop in the arterial wall this signaling will stop and inflammation treating leukocytes will enter the arterial wall and platelet aggregation will develop in the arterial lumen.

"By virtue of it's effect in restoring nitric oxide pomegranate may help combat endothelial dysfunction. Daily consumption of eight ounces of pure pomegranate juice has been shown to significantly regress markers of atherosclerotic occlusion."   Life Extension

“A recent randomized, controlled clinical trial showed daily consumption of 6.3 grams of dark chocolate containing 30 mg of polyphenols can improve endothelial function, increase formation of vasodilative nitric oxide, and help maintain healthy blood pressure levels that are already within normal range.” Life Extension   Note I take one to two ounces (30 - 60 grams) of Cocoa powder each day. Cocoa is good for so much more than NO production.

"Improved nitric oxide metabolism associated with removing lead from your body can dramatically improve endurance and blood flow." Doctor Gary Gordon MD, Note make sure to have your bunch of cilantro at least once a week

"In a controlled human study arterial blood flow improved by 37% following ingestion of standardized cocoa polyphenols and this persisted for about eight hours. A 36% decrease in undesirable platelet activation was also registered. The cocoa polyphenols appear to exert their beneficial effect by enhancing endothelial nitric oxide."   Life Extension, Note the increased NO production IMO also accomplished the blood platelet disaggregation indirectly from the NO

"An orally active SOD supplement Glisodin has been clinically proven to support healthy arterial function and structure while boosting levels of the bodies most powerful antioxidant enzymes, SOD and catalase." AMPK aided NO is a positive for your health UNLESS you have Cancer or other pathology requiring new arterial growth in new pathological tissue, as opposed to replacement of damaged arteries in healthy tissue.
